Courteous, Friendly, and Professional Service

All of our cremation packages include basic services like co-ordinating activities and ceremonies, documentation, transfer of the deceased, basic preparation of remains, and facilities for preparation and shelter. Our funeral directors will work with you on personalizing and coordinating memorial services, receptions, or celebrations of life. Once the cremation has been completed our funeral directors deliver our complimentary aftercare program.

Respectful Care of the Deceased and Timely Completion of the Process

Our funeral directors will escort your loved one to the crematory and ensure they are treated with the utmost professionalism and respect. Typically, the cremation process usually takes between 4-5 business days to complete but this may fluctuate based on availability of the crematory, time of death, and their hours of operation. If the circumstance calls for it, we do offer an expedited cremation option (2 business days) for an additional fee.

Safekeeping and prompt return of cremated remains

We understand the importance of returning your loved ones remains quickly and safely. Depending on the type of cremation package selected, cremated remains are returned either in a temporary container or a family selected urn.

Our Cremation Options

We offer four different cremation options; each is designed for simplicity, ease, and with a budget in mind. Typically the cremation takes place before any of the optional services are completed but of course we allow for some private time for your family to say goodbye. The options are endless and we can discuss them in full detail with you when you are ready.

Simple

The Simple cremation service package is the most basic that we offer. With this package we will care for them and accompany them to their final place of rest. Upon completion of cremation we contact the next of kin and return the ashes in a temporary container. Paperwork and documentation is handled along with a consultation with one of our funeral directors to complete the aftercare program.

Witnessing

Should a family want to see the beginning of the cremation process, a witnessing is organized. Followed by this is a family meeting at the crematorium. Since this can be difficult for some to be a part of this process, we recommend that only a few people attend with a full understanding of what is happening prior to your arrival. One of our funeral directors can walk you through the entire process from start to finish should you with to have this option. Once cremation is complete, the next of kin is contacted and the ashes are returned in a temporary container. Paperwork and documentation is handled along with a consultation with one of our funeral directors to complete the aftercare program.

Social

This cremation package is usually selected by families who wish to have a less formal gathering. The cremation process is completed and the ashes are returned to an urn. Following this, a two hour gathering to celebrate and honor your loved one's life is held in our reception area with the urn present where guests are encouraged to share stories and memories of the deceased. Music, catering, and refreshments can be made available during this time. Our funeral directors can work with you to plan a personalized reception and ease the stress of planning. Paperwork and documentation is handled along with a consultation with one of our funeral directors to complete the aftercare program.

Memorial

A memorial gathering can be organized to take place immediately following the cremation or later after. The memorial service can be as formal or religious as the family would like. The urn is typically present during this time and our funeral directors will coordinate and host the event so everything runs smoothly. This can be held either at the funeral home or another location. Paperwork and documentation is handled along with a consultation with one of our funeral directors to complete the aftercare program.

Benefits of Cremation

Cremation allows a family the flexibility they may need in planning and preparing for a memorial service, celebration-of-life, or a scattering ceremony. While the cremation process can occur almost immediately (once all the proper paperwork is complete), the decisions required in planning a meaningful memorial for a loved one can be made in a relaxed, rational way. Not only do you have flexibility for the type of service you plan, you also have the convenience of time. In fact, it’s common for families to hold memorial services weeks or even months after their loved one’s passing.

We want you to know that no matter your reasons for choosing cremation, we're here to help you explore your options. When you're ready, call us to schedule an appointment. If your loved one has passed away and your family is making decisions, it is best to come to a group consensus and listen to everyone’s opinion.

Remember, there is no right or wrong answer. Only you know what is right choice for you. We have listed some of the most common benefits of cremation below.

Cremation Costs

Cremation costs are generally less expensive than the cost of a burial service. We have tried to offer our cremation packages at a price that accommodates the budgets of most families. Oftentimes, families will take the money they save by selecting cremation and use it to help offset the costs of a memorial service or celebration of life. If you have any concerns about cremation costs, our staff would be happy to discuss different crowdfunding and insurance assignment options available to you.

Religious Beliefs

For some people, their religious beliefs will help guide their decision. Some faiths are strictly against the practice of cremation while others have no preference. If you are unsure about your denomination’s stance on the matter, we recommend speaking with your priest, pastor, or spiritual guide for assistance.

Personal Preferences

It is important to take into account your personal preferences and beliefs when deciding upon cremation. Perhaps your family has a tradition of holding burials or cremations. In this case, consider how you feel about it and how important it is to you to continue these traditions. It’s also important to take into account how your family feels about each option. While the choice is ultimately yours, you should take into account what others will need to help cope with the loss.

What Does Cremation Cost?

Cremation typically costs one-third of the cost of a traditional burial. While it's true that cost is a big factor for many families, it's important to remember that cremation is only one part of providing meaningful end-of-life care for a loved one. Coming to terms with the death of a loved one is important and can be achieved with a memorial service . Bringing family and friends together provides everyone with the opportunity to share memories and receive support.
