God called Armando peacefully on October 16, 2017 at the age of 83. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Sabina. Cherished by his dear daughter Lina (Onofrio Marcello). Proud Nonno to Paolo (Sara), Stephanie (Michael Da Re), Cristina (Stephen Logush). Adoring great-grandfather to Alissa and Juliette. Armando will always be remembered by his siblings Giovanni (Elisa), Nicola (Lucia), Emilia (Lorenzo), the late Michele (Rina), the late Rocco (Rocchina), the late Donato (Olimpia) and is predeceased by his sister Silvia. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Thursday October 19, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday October 20, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (150 St. Francis Ave., north of Rutherford Rd.). Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (on Albion Rd., at Hwy 27). If so desired, donations in memory of Armando may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Princess Margaret Hospital.
