God called Sabatino peacefully on Saturday October 14, 2017 at the age of 87. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Antonietta. Cherished by his dear children, Geremia (Gina), and Antonio (Mary). Proud Nonno of Stephanie, Samantha, Jeremy, Sabatino, Ignazio, Kiana, and Sophia. Sabatino will always be remembered by his siblings Benedetta (Basiglio), Costanzo (Liberata), Liberato (Claudina), and sister-in-law Assunta. Predeceased by his sister Domenica and her husband Giuseppe, and his brothers Carmine and Michele. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Tuesday October 17, 2017 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday October 18, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (300 Ansley Grove Rd., north of Chancellor Dr.). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (on Yonge St., south of Hwy 7). If so desired, donations in memory of Sabatino may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
