God called Lela peacefully on October 11, 2017 at the age of 74. Lela is now reunited in heaven with her beloved son Steve. She will be forever missed by her loving husband, Dimitrios. Cherished by her dear children, Dino (Anna) and daughter in-law Rosanna. Proud grandmother to Alissa, James, Dimitrios and Francesco. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Visitation will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Sunday October 15, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday October 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church (1 Brookhaven Dr., north of Trethewey Dr.). Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery (on Jane St., north of Steeles Ave.). If so desired, donations in memory of Lela may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
