God called Vincenzo peacefully on Thursday October 5, 2017 at the age of 82.  He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Caterina. Cherished by his dear children, Maria Tanya (Rino Aurilia), Sandy (Domenic Ali), Laura, and Myra (Michael Morrison). Proud and beloved Nonno to his cherished grandchildren, Joseph and Sofia. Vincenzo will always be remembered by his siblings Cesare (Domenica), Pasqualina (Sebastiano), Luigi, and sister -in- law Francesca (Santino predeceased).  He will be held dear in the hearts of his many neices and nephews, relatives, and many friends. Our deepest gratitude and recognition to the medical staff at Sunnybrook Hospital, most notably Dr. Spaner and Dr. Wells, for their dedicated care, empathetic support, and compassion. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Sunday October 8, 2017 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. and on Monday October 9, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday October 10, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Transfiguration of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church (45 Ludstone Dr., south of Dixon Rd.). Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (on Albion Rd., at Hwy 27). If so desired, donations in memory of Vincenzo may be made to the Sunnybrook Foundation- Oncology Unit.
