God called Gilda peacefully on Sunday September 24, 2017 at the age of 90. She is now reunited in heaven with her loving husband, Giovanni and her daughter Anna Maria Satino. Cherished by her dear children, Frank (Franca) and Lucy Multari (Brian States). Proud Nonna to John, Christine (Joe Lio), Mikey Satino (Daniela), Luciano Multari, Joanna (Peter Cabral) and Jimmy. Adoring great-grandmother to Carmine, Mason, Mathew & Michela. Gilda will always be remembered by her two sisters in Italy, Irma and Maria. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Tuesday September 26, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday September 27, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (300 Ansley Grove Rd., north of Chancellor Dr.). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (on Hwy 27, south of Hwy 7). If so desired, donations in memory of Gilda may be made to Parkinson Canada.
