God called Franca peacefully on Wednesday September 13, 2017 at the age of 90. She is now reunited in heaven with her loving husband, Franco, her beloved daughter Pina and her son-in-law Ennio Mora. Cherished by her dear daughter, Sandra (Joe Tassone). Proud grandmother to Vince (Nicole), Frank (Stefanie), Julian (Josie), Rosie and Raffaele. Adoring great-grandmother to Pina, Ennio, Rosanna, Olivia and Emilia. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Sunday September 17, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday September 18, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (150 St. Francis Ave., north of Rutherford Rd.). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (on Yonge St., south of Hwy 7). If so desired, donations in memory of Franca may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
