God called Gennaro peacefully on Friday August 11, 2017 at the age of 90. He is now reunited in heaven with his loving wife, Antonietta. Cherished by his dear children, Antonio (Patricia), Maria (Natalino Ferri), Michael (Susan), Carmela and Frank (Sharon). Proud Nonno to Antonietta (Phil), Nicole (Sam), Amanda, Gennaro (Vanessa), Marcel (Lisa), Brianna, Lucas and Joshua. Bisnonno to Nina, Antonio and Chloe. Gennaro will be always be remembered by his brother Anselmo and sister Nicolina of Italy and by his brother Orazio of Venezuela. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Tuesday August 15, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday August 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church (2547 Kipling Ave., north of Finch Ave.). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. If so desired, donations in memory of Gennaro may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
