God called Leonardo suddenly on Monday May 8, 2017 at the age of 85. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Giuseppina. Cherished by his dear children, Rocco (Patty), Michelina (Domenic Ferri), Tony (Debbie), Carmela Bellissimo, Angelo (Melissa) and Lenny. Proud Nonno to Vince, Lenny, Laura, Anthony, Alex, Jessica, Antonietta, Nikki, Domenico, Jace, Josie, Lenny Jr. Mikaela and BisNonno to James, Domenic, Paolo, Finn, Ava, Kenzie, Molly and Emma. Survived by his brother Tony (Angela) and sister in law Assunta Cornacchia. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Friday May 12, 2017 from 2-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday May 13, 2017 at 11 a.m., at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major MacKenzie Dr., east of Jane St). Entombment to follow at Highland Memorial Gardens (on Don Mills Ave., south of Steeles Ave.). If so desired, donations in memory of Leonardo may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
