God called Fortunato peacefully on May 7, 2017 at the age of 77. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Angela. Cherished by his dear children, Domenic (Lori), Rosa (Joe Pellerito), and Maria (Carlos Brito). Proud Nonno to Angelica & Indya. Fortunato will always be remembered by his siblings Alberto, Marianna, Grazia, and Teresa and sister in law Rosa. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Wednesday May 10, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday May 11, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Jane Frances Roman Catholic Church (2747 Jane St., north of Sheppard Ave.). Private Entombment to follow. If so desired, donations in memory of Fortunato may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
