God called Caterina peacefully on April 19, 2017 at the age of 86. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Giuseppe. Cherished by her dear children Sara (Nicola Martino), Maria (Domenico Gareri pre-deceased), Giuseppina (Francesco Leandro), Cathy (Giuseppe Carello) and Teresa (Domenic Talotta). Proud Nonna to Vicky (Frank Nalli), Marianne (James March), Cathy, Cathy (Sandro Addante), Giuseppe, Franca (John Brown), Nancy (Miguel Eustache), Christina (Brian Cherry), John, Michael, Diana, Joe, Cassandra and Erika. Adoring great grandmother to Marcello, Justin, Jessica, Vincent, Jonathan, Matthew, Ethan, Logan and 2 on the way. Caterina will always be remembered by her brother Domenico (Maria). She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Thursday April 20, 2017 from 6 – 9 p.m. and Friday April 21, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday April 22, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church (100 Bainbridge Ave., at Martin Grove Rd.) Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (on Albion Rd., at Hwy 27). If so desired, donations in memory of Caterina may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
