God called Emma peacefully on March 15, 2017 at the age of 85. She is reunited in heaven with her loving husband Joseph. Cherished by her dear children Theresa ( Carmelo Pompeo), Anita (Peter D’Ammizio), Lou (Joanne). Proud Nonna to Melissa (Greg Dunlap), Matthew Pompeo, Olivia D’Ammizio, Vanessa Spagnuolo and Joseph Spagnuolo. Emma will always be remembered by her brother Mario (Assunta) Caruso in Italy. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Visitation will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Sunday March 19, 2017 from 2 – 9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday March 20, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Jane Frances Roman Catholic Church (2747 Jane St., north of Sheppard.). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (on Yonge St., south of Hwy 7.).
