God called Elvira peacefully on March 11, 2017 at the age of 92. She is reunited in heaven with her loving husband, Pasquale and her son Peter. Cherished by her dear daughters in law Pina and Linda and by her son Emilio. Proud Nonna to Patty, Peter Jr., Melissa, Pasquale and Adam. Elvira will always be remembered by her 3 sisters, 1 brother in Italy and 1 brother in Vaughan. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Wednesday March 15, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday March 16, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church (8500 Islington Ave., south of Langstaff Rd.). Entombment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery (on Tomken Rd., south of Derry Rd.). If so desired, donations in memory of Elvira may be made to St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church.
