God called Francesco peacefully on February 22, 2017 at the age of 83. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Maria. Cherished by his dear children, Mirella (Frank Federico), Sonia (Pio Tarantelli), Patricia (Ron O’Doherty), Luigi, Marcello, and Roberto. Proud Nonno to Stephanie (Marco), Marco (Natasha), Paul, Daniela, Ashley, Paul, Sabrina, Nicole, Samantha, and Frankie and great grandfather to Matteo. He will always be remembered by his siblings Adriana, Lucia, Evelina, and Antonio. Francesco is now reunited in Heaven with his parents Luigi and Emma, brothers Mario and Claudio, and his sister Anna. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Saturday February 25, 2017 from 6-9pm, and Sunday February 26, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday February 27, 2017 at 9:30 a.m., at St. Wilfrid’s Roman Catholic Church (1675 Finch Ave West, West of Keele St.). Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (on Albion Rd., at Hwy 27). If so desired, donations in memory of Francesco may be made to Prostate Cancer Canada or to the Parkinson’s Society.
