God called Rocco peacefully on Tuesday December 6, 2016 at the age of 65. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Josephine. Cherished by his dear brothers, Giorgio (Maria) and Vittorio (Rose) and Josephine’s siblings Christine (Thomas), Pauline (Robert), Geraldine (Agustine), Stephen, Claudine (Ralph – Pre Deceased), Robert, Mathias, Randolf (Juanita), Paul (Cynthia), James, Susan (Anthony), Roderick (Sheila). Proud Zio to Dominique, Stephanie, Carlo and Olivia and a large number of nieces and nephews on Josephine’s side of the family. Predeceased by parents Carlo and Domenica Patafio, and Josephine’s parents Thomas and Gertrude Walsh. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Friday December 9, 2016 from 2-4 p.m., and 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday December 10, 2016 at 9:00 a.m., at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (150 St. Francis Ave., north of Rutherford Rd.). Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (on Albion Rd., at Hwy 27). If so desired, donations in memory of Rocco may be made to either the Diabetes Canada, the Kidney Foundation of Canada or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
