God called Seconda peacefully on December 2, 2016 at the age of 88. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Lino. Cherished by her dear children, Sylvana (Andrea Vettoretto) and Sandra. Proud grandmother to Melissa dawn and Julia. Seconda will always be remembered by her sister Dina and brother Corrado. Seconda is predeceased by her parents Umberto and Esterina and by her brother Franco. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Monday December 5, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday December 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (150 St. Francis Ave., north of Rutherford Rd.). Entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery (on St. Clair Ave., east of Caledonia Rd.). If so desired, donations in memory of Seconda may be made to either the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
