God called Stavros “Steve” peacefully on Friday November 25, 2016 at the age of 48. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Rosanna. Cherished by his dear children, Dimitrios and Francesco. Loving son to Dimitrios and Lela. Survived by his brother Dino (Anna), sister in law Mary (Boyd McKillican), mother in law Concetta Frucci and reunited in heaven with his father in law Francesco. Proud Thio to Alissa, James, Alexander, Frank, Stephanie (Drew) and their daughter Paige. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Sunday November 27, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. and Monday November 28, 2016 from 2-4 p.m., and 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday November 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., at Saint Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church (1 Brookhaven Drive, north of Trethewey Drive). Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery (on Jane Street, north of Steeles Avenue). If so desired, donations in memory of Stavros “Steve” may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
