God called Giovanni peacefully on Wednesday October 19, 2016 at the age of 87. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Carolina. Cherished by his dear children, Margherita (Rinaldo Larenza) and Maria (Gaetano Iamonaco. Proud Nonno to Carla (Fabio Bartolini, Lisa (Mike Vannicola), Anthony Iamonaco (Daniella) and Michael Iamonaco (Natalie), and by his 6 great-grandchildren Mattaeo, Adamo,, Alessio, Daniel, Anthony and Luca. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Friday October 21, 2016 from 2-4 p.m., and 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday October 22, 2016 at 9:30 a.m., at St. Wilfrid’s Roman Catholic Church (1675 Finch Ave. W., west of Keele St.). Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (on Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave.). If so desired, donations in memory of Giovanni may be made to the Ontario Lung Association .
