God called Antonio peacefully on Wednesday September 14, 2016 at the age of 89. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Maria. Cherished by his dear children, Angelo (Rosaria) and Filomena (Giovanni Bartino). Proud Nonno to Maryann, Alessia, Michael (Josie), Anna Maria (Steve) and Anthony. Bisnonno to Angela, Gabriel, Giovanni and Francesco. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Friday September 16, 2016 from 2-4 p.m., and 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday September 17, 2016 at 9:30 a.m., at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church (100 Bainbridge Ave., at Martin Grove Road). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (on Hwy 27, south of Hwy 7). If so desired, donations in memory of Antonio may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
