God called Maria peacefully on August 22, 2016 at the age of 90. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband, Armando. Cherished by her dear children, Ada (Joe Colavecchia) and Renzo (Beatrice). Proud grandmother to Tony (Josie), Robert (Letizia) and Pamela (Paul). Adoring great grandmother to Dayna, Christopher and Matthew. Maria will always be remembered by her sisters Giovina, Concetta, Teresa and Angelina and also by her sister in laws Immacolata and Maria, and by her brother in law Mike. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Thursday August 25, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday August 26, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Roch’s Roman Catholic Church (2889 Islington Ave., south of Steeles Ave.)). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (on Hwy 27, south of Hwy 7). If so desired, donations in memory of Maria may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
