God called Francesco peacefully on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the age of 79. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Maria. Cherished by his dear children, Giovanni, Piero, and Claudio. Reunited in heaven with his son Luigi. Forever missed by his sisters Maria, Assunta and Filomena. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Thursday August 18, 2016 from 2-4 p.m., and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday August 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Augustine of Canterbury Roman Catholic Church (80 Shoreham Dr., west of Jane St.). Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery (on Jane St., south of Hwy 7.). If so desired, donations in memory of Francesco may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
