Surrounded by family, God called Florio peacefully on Sunday July 24, 2016 in his 85th year. He will forever be missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Edda. Cherished by his dear son James & daughter-in-law Rosemary, Florio will always be remembered by his four adoring grandchildren Justin, Jordan, Veronica, & Brandan. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, & many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home – Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Road, Woodbridge, ON) on Tuesday July 26, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday July 27, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday July 28, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. David’s Parish (2601 Major Mackenzie Drive West, Maple, ON). Private entombment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill, ON). In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Florio may be made to Brandan’s Eye Research Foundation (www.visionclub.ca).
