God called Diego peacefully on Tuesday July 12, 2016 at the age of 86. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Giuseppina. Cherished by his dear children, Giovanna (Vincenzo Piccolo), Melina (Enrico Fiore) and Toni (Don Wright). Proud Nonno to Patrizia (Roberto), Adriano (Daniela), Gabriele (Michelle), Nadine, Melissa, Ryan (Sandra), Jeffrey (Ashley). Adoring great-grandfather to Daniel, Andrew, Olivia, Elise, Carissa, Lincoln, Logan and Cora. Survived hi siblings Giovanni (Melina) and Lina Fiore. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Thursday July 14, 2016 from 2-4 p.m., and 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday July 15, 2016 at 9:00 a.m., at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major Mackenzie Dr., east of Jane St.). Entombment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens (on Don Mills Ave., south of Steeles Ave.). If so desired, donations in memory of Diego may be made to Hospice Simcoe.
