God called Luigia peacefully on Thursday, July 7th, 2016 at the age of 87. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband Pietro. Cherished by her dear children, Suzi (Joe Bernardon), Gianni (Anna) and Frank (Tina). Proud and adoring Nonna of Jason (Michele), Jenna, Julia, Daniella, Matthew, Michael, Sarah and Rebecca. Luigia will always be remembered by her siblings Bruno, Attilio, Lino, Silvio and Corrado, family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Saturday, July 9th from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday, July 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 11th, 2016 at 11:00a.m. at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church (2194 Kipling Ave., north of Rexdale Blvd). Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (Hwy 27, south of Hwy 7). If so desired, donations in memory of Luigia may be made to the Arthritis Society.
