God called Matteo peacefully on Sunday April 24, 2016 at the age of 68. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Emilia. Cherished by his dear children, Boniface, Beniamino (Zenona), Giulia-Anna (Houman) and Matteo (Josie). Proud and adoring grandfather to Maja, Nicholas, Emily, Matteo, Lucas and Gregory. He will be forever missed by his mother, Giulia. Matteo is now reunited in Heaven with his father, Emilio and his brother John. He will be sadly missed by his siblings Antonietta, Maria, Franca and Paul, and his father-in-law Beniamino. He will be held dear in the hearts of all his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Tuesday April 26, 2016 from 2-4 p.m., and 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday April 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (150 St. Francis Ave., north of Rutherford Rd.). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (on Hwy 27, south of Hwy 7).
