God called Luigi peacefully on February 8, 2016 at the age of 93. He is now reunited in Heaven with his loving wife, Rosa. Cherished by his dear children, Lisa (Sam Carioti), Angela Leto, Joe Leto (Mary), Vince Leto (Vincie), Tony Leto (Louisa), Sam Leto and Bruna (Sam Valela). Proud grandfather of 19 and great-grandfather of 21. He will be held dear in the hearts of all his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd., 905-850-3332) on Thursday, February 11th, 2016 from 6-9 p.m., and Friday, February 12th, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 13th, 2016 at 9:30 a.m., at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church (100 Bainbridge Ave., at Martin Grove Rd.). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (on Hwy 27, south of Hwy 7). In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Luigi may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
