God called Esmeralda peacefully on February 7, 2016 at the age of 80. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Andrea. Cherished by her dear children; Sister Paula, Joanne (John Vavaroutsos). Proud grandmother to Sofia, Elias and Andrew. Esmeralda will always be remembered by her siblings Clelia, Raffaele Capizzano and Angelina Recchia. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905 850-3332) on Monday February 8, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday February 9, 2016 at 9:30 am at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church (100 Bainbridge Ave., at Martingrove Rd.). Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (on Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave.). If so desired, donations in memory of Esmeralda may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.
