God called Helen Tharrenos peacefully on Monday January 14, 2013 at the age of 47. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will be held at the Vescio Funeral Homes Ltd. (8101 Weston Rd., south of Langstaff Rd., 905 850-3332) on Wednesday from 2-5 and 6-9pm and Thursday from 2-5 and 6-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 10:30 am at St. Kosmas Aitolos Greek Orthodox Monastery (14155 Caledon King Townline South, north of King Rd.). Burial to follow at Glenview Memorial Gardens (Hwy. 50, south of Hwy. 7.). If so desired donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society directly through the charity’s website.
